Explore New Worlds With Astral Projecting

Wednesday, January 13th, 2010

A lot of people find that there are some stumbling blocks preventing them from successfully astral projecting. However, this is something which all of us can do. It is a natural ability which every man and woman already has. Much like riding a bike, you dont forget how; but you do have to keep in practice in order to do it well.

One major stumbling block that many people encounter is relaxation. To astral project the mind and the body have to be deeply relaxed. This can take some practice, but there are many relaxation techniques that you can employ to help your mind and body relax. There are breathing techniques and muscle relaxation techniques that you can try.

Naturally though if the environment is not conducive to promoting a relaxed environment then your astral projection session is not going to go as smoothly or be as successful as you would like it to be. Here are a number of tips that you can follow to help get the most out of your preparation.

*Start by removing any tight, restrictive clothing and any jewelry. Some people even find taking off their clothes to be helpful when astral projecting, but whatever works for you is the right way to go.

*It is easiest to practice astral projecting in a dark room. You dont want it to be so dark that you cant see anything with your eyes open, but it should be dark enough that no light penetrates through when you close them.

*Lay down with your body pointed north to south. Your head should be pointed north. You can orient yourself by using the sun as your guide (since it sets in the west and rises in the east).

*Make sure that the clothing you are wearing is loose and comfortable. You want to be covered so that you are warmer the you normally are but you dont want to be hot.

*You should be doing this at a time when you are going to be free from distraction. Which means that you want a noise free place and time to practice your astral projecting.

*Practice your relaxation techniques. You need to be totally relaxed in order to astral project.

*Give yourself suggestions to help you remember what you see and do when astral projecting. Tell yourself at least five times before you begin I will remember. Having pen and paper nearby is a good idea, since you can then write down what happened as soon as you return to your body.

*Practice your breathing techniques and relax.

*While you relax yourself with your breathing techniques, start focusing on the blackness in front of you.

*Now you want to focus on a point or object about a foot away from your forehead, once you focus on that object change your focus to six feet away.

*Next, imagine a line running at a 90 degree angle from this focal point to a point parallel to your body.

These tips will help you to prepare for astral projecting. You need to have full mental control of the process, so that your astral body doesn’t just wander off directionless. When you astral project you can go anywhere and do anything, so focus on the wheres and whats.

There are some astral projecting practitioners that are able to talk with loved ones they have lost. There are others that take part in activities that they are not able to do in the physical realm of reality. Contrary to what you may think, you have done this already. Now you need to have control over what is happening. Those dreams that you wake up and remember really well were actually astral traveling. Now it is time for you to learn to do it intentionally to reap the benefits of what astral projecting can do for you.

Lavender Has Fields of Uses

Thursday, January 7th, 2010

Colorful Description

On my friend’s farm in central Colorado grows rows of lavender, and by mid-summer its flowers fragrantly scent nearby fields. While working on the farm, I find my spirits lifted and happy despite the intense heat and my tiring muscles. It is no wonder that for much of history, lavender has been used in sachets and oils alike to bring pleasure as well s reduce stress and anxiety. Other traditional therapeutic uses include as a sleep-aid, relief from pain and headaches, an anti-inflammatory, treatment for cough and respiratory infection, and as an insect repellent as well as a perfume. Greeks, Romans and Egyptians alike have all recorded using lavender in various remedies. Today, lavender is mostly used in the same way - widely used to dress wounds, induce sleep, ease depression and reduce stress. It can also be found in ingredients of teas and culinary dishes and of course the delightful scent in perfume. Current research is investigating the antimicrobial as well as anti-cancer properties of lavender essential oil.

Although generally known as lavender, there are actually thirty-nine species of the genus Lavendula, yet only a handful is used commercially. This fragrant plant is native to the Mediterranean region south to tropical Africa and to the southeast region of India. Today lavender is successfully cultivated in southern Europe, Australia and the United States. Aromatherapists distinguish lavender species according to their therapeutic uses and medicinal properties. True lavender (L. officinalis, L. angustifolia) when distilled at high elevations is known for its large percentage of ester content and regarded as the best in quality. Uses for true lavender include cases involving anxiety, stress, small burns, cuts and insect bites. Spike lavender (L. spica, L. latifolia) is known for its camphor content and thus used for respiratory infections, for muscular aches and pains and as a possible stimulant. Lavendin (L.fragrans, L. burnatti) is a hybrid of true lavender (L. angustifolia) and spike lavender (L. latifolia) and commonly used for large-scale commercial purposes. Stoechas lavender (L. stoechas) is used as an expectorant and known for its antimicrobial properties.

Reducing Anxiety

Lavender is well recognized as an agent able to support a reduction in anxiety, mainly due to its high linalool levels. The physiological process of reducing anxiety through the use of essential oils is quite phenomenal. Once the diffused molecules of essential oil enter the nasal cavity, they bind to receptor sites of the olfactory neurons which then trigger a cascade of events. In short, the olfactory neurons send messages to the olfactory nerve and then onto the olfactory bulb (located just three inches from the brain) where messages are initially processed. Within the olfactory bulb are input and output stations, the glomeruli and M/T (mitral and tufted) cells respectively. The olfactory output from the bulb to the brain has several targets, mainly the primary olfactory cortex and the higher olfactory associated areas where olfactory discrimination, perception and memories take place. The other is the limbic system, sometimes referred to the ‘nose’ brain comprising a complex system of 122 regions and associated areas which together is heavily responsible for the expression of emotion. Main structures of the limbic system (LS) are the amygdala, septum, hippocampus, anterior thalamus, and hypothalamus.

True lavender (L. angusifolia) is thought to have a sedative effect on the amygdala, which is considered to plays a role in processing emotion as well as governing emotional response and greatly responsible for the sensation of fear. Recent science studies looking at anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) propensities of lavender are numerous. A University of Central Lancashire, UK study (J Ethnopharmacol. 2007 May 22; 111(3): 517-25) investigated the effects of lavender odor inhalation on the behavior of gerbils (a type of rodent often used in laboratory research) and noted that exposure to lavender may have an anxiolytic effect in gerbils similar to that of the common anti-anxiety medication diazepam. A recent study published in Holistic Nursing Practice (2009 Mar-Apr; 23(2): 88-93) concluded that the use of lavender (as well as rosemary) essential oil sachets reduced stress-taking anxiety for graduate nursing students. Also in 2009, a study published in Community Dentistry and Oral Epidemiology (Nov 23) found that dental patients who were exposed to lavender scent had a reduction in their forthcoming procedure.

Other Applications for Lavender

A rather haphazard discovery of lavender in the use of tissue regeneration was made by the late Dr. Rene-Maurice Gattefosse (a French cosmetic chemist) who after he severely burned his hands in a laboratory accident, submerged them in a container of lavender essential oil and noted the remarkable speed at which they healed. More recent research has newly discovered the possible antimutagenic (inhibits mutations) effect of lavender. In this study (Food and Chemical Toxicology 2005 Sept; 4319: 1381-7) scientists noted antimutagenic effects of lavender oil (L. angustifolia) on a strain of Salmonella bacteria, concluding that such uses of lavender may be promising for applications in modern human healthcare. Other uses, such as antimicrobial and antiviral have been recognized and supported on the University of Maryland Medical Center website (www.umm.edu).

Conclusion

The physiological pathway for molecules of lavender essential oil to reach the brain is remarkable. By following the molecular trail into the nasal cavity and its subsequent neurological reactions, one can better appreciate the recognized stress-reducing qualities found in lavender. Traditional uses of lavender are now being investigated and their diverse applications more fully understood. With science now uncovering the specialization of olfactory receptor sites for certain scent molecules, aromatherapy becomes an even more valuable remedy for maintaining wellness. We would all do well to familiarize ourselves and perhaps re-remember what our ancient brain (the limbic area) has stored for thousands, even millions of years- molecules of scent, and in this case lavender, are powerful and effective.

Causes And Cure Of Acne Scars

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

Acne is a perennial problem particularly for women, with its sudden appearance and the lasting scars that it causes. Irrespective of your dislike for it, acne occurs during the teenage years of most people and a lot of effort is required for removing these bad looking marks and checking them from recurring.

Acne is a condition caused by the reaction of bacteria and excessive sebum released by the glands in the skin. In the healing stage of this infection, a protein named collagen is produced under the skin. If collagen is in excess, it causes a swelling, and if it is deficient, it causes tiny depressions on the surface of the skin. Acne scars appear in both these cases. Adolescents are typically more prone to acne infection as their hormones increase all of a sudden at the time of puberty causing greater sebum secretion.

Among the typical reasons of acne infection are use of cosmetics that are not appropriate for the type of skin, taking contraceptive medication, consumption of medicinal drugs, and genetic factors. A number of other factors such as anxiety, improper food habits, and even pollution can result in acne. But as against what a majority of people believe, scientists have not found any relation between oily food and acne.

In spite of availability of a number of herbal skin-care products and lotions for curing acne available in the shops, it is advisable to visit a doctor if the infection increases or appears repeatedly. In order to ensure that acne does not increase, it is better to resist pinching the lesion or poking it with sharp objects.

A number of sufferers now go for various cosmetic treatments to make the scars disappear and get a glowing skin. Surgical procedures and laser treatment are two of the most successful methods of permanently removing acne scars, but several other innovative treatments are also available nowadays. You should take suggestions from a well known skin specialist who would be able to identify your skin type and suggest a proper remedy accordingly.

Surgical Approaches to Hemorrhoid Treatments

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

Due to the location internal hemorrhoids are notoriously hard to treat. In the last few decades a number of new surgical approaches have been used for hemorrhoids treatments. The main problem with the following medical procedures is that they are both invasive and not easy on the pocket book. Through out this article we will look at the five most common surgical approaches to hemorrhoid treatments.

1. Rubber Band Ligation - Rubber band ligation is a medical procedure where the doctor places a small rubber band near the base of the hemorrhoid which will cut off the blood supply to the infected area and normally the hemorrhoid will shrink and eventually fall off.

2. Injection Sclerotherapy - With the injection sclerotherapy procedure the doctor injects a special chemical solution into the mucous membrane surrounding the hemorrhoid. The chemical solution will cause inflammation and the closing of veins that lead to the hemorrhoid shutting off the blood supply which will lead to the hemorrhoid eventually falling off.

3. Infrared Photocoagulation - Infrared Photocoagulation involves directing an infrared light to coagulate (clot) the dilated veins of the hemorrhoid which closes off the blood supply and hopefully leads to the hemorrhoids shrinking and disappearing.

4. Laser Coagulation - Laser Coagulation is a rather new procedure which involves the application of an electric current to the hemorrhoids. The electric current triggers a chemical reaction that shuts down the blood supply in the hemorrhoid and causes the inflamed tissue to shrink.

5. Hemorrhoidectomy - Hemorrhoidectomy is basically the surgical removal of the hemorrhoid. This procedure should be considered to be the last resort.

The above listed hemorrhoid treatments all tend to work off the notion that once the blood supply is cut off to the hemorrhoid than the problem is basically solved. However the degree of success to these procedures will vary from doctor to doctor and to the location of the hemorrhoid.

Undergoing any of the before mentioned hemorrhoid treatments is not a pleasant experience so make sure that you have explored all other options beforehand . A product that needs to be considered is known as the Hemorrhoid miracle which comes with a full money back guarantee if it is not able to provide relief and cure you of your hemorrhoids.

A Natural Way to Alleviate Hemorrhoids Pain

Saturday, January 2nd, 2010

Hemorrhoids pain is from a swelling or inflammation of the blood vessels in and around the anus. The pain from hemorrhoids can be mild and intermittent, or almost excruciating and constant, or anywhere in between. There are a number of ways to alleviate the pain, some taking care of the pain only, and others that try to fix the problem.

There are ways that may help prevent hemorrhoids, such as, eating a high fiber diet. When you eat a high fiber diet or bran, or rouhage, it helps to retain more water in your stool, allowing the bowel movement to be softer and easier for you to pass. When you have the urge to have a bowel movement do not prevent it from happening, drink plenty of liquids and exercise to help the bowl movement to be more frequent.

Witch hazel is a soothing form of astringent that eases the pain of pile bruising, another name for bruising of the hemorrhoids. When using Witch hazel hemorrhoids will be relieved of the painful swelling involved and once again the afflicted individual will be able to sit down with less discomfort and overall pain.

A cold compress in some situations will also help treat the discomfort that hemorrhoids causes. Cold compression therapy generally requires applying a cold pad or ice pack to the inflicted area for twenty minutes every two hours. Cold compression has been shown to reduce the swelling caused by hemorrhoids and will help speed up the recovery process.

The first step to curing hemorrhoids is first easing the symptoms. Keeping the area clean and maintaining a healthy diet can help calm the painful hemorrhoids. Most additional discomfort comes from constipation, a good diet of fiber, fruits and veggies can lessen the pressure. In addition to cleaning the area, warm sitz baths and heating pads have been known to also relieve the swelling and itching.

Calmovil is a natural supplement created using the latest studies. It contains substantial amounts of several bioflavonoids including rutin, diosmin and hesperidin. Horse Chestnut and Butchers Broom are included, along with Chamomile, Plantain and ingredients not found in other supplements. These ingredients combine to provide safe, quick treatment and relief of symptoms, making Calmovil a superior product in many different respects. Many users report relief within hours of beginning treatment. Use Calmovil to treat hemorrhoids naturally and provide fast and permanent relief.

Chronic UTI

Friday, January 1st, 2010

Many people suffer from chronic UTI. The medical term UTI stands for urinary tract infection. Signs of a UTI include the following: frequent urges to urinate, urine that looks cloudy, and painful and burning urination.

The most widely known remedy for UTI infections is cranberry juice. Juice should be 100% natural with no added sugars. Another option is to take cranberry extract tablets, available at your local health food store. It may be easier for you to take tablets than to drink cranberry juice throughout the day, and the tablets have been shown to be equally effective in the treatment of UTI infections.

If you catch your UTI at the very first sign of symptoms (painful urinating, constant urge to urinate, lower abdominal pain) you may be able to flush out the bacteria with plain water. Drink plenty of water and it will dilute and flush out the toxins. Another natural remedy to try at the first signs of a UTI is baking soda. Mix 1/2 teaspoon in an eight ounce glass of water and drink. The baking soda will raise the acid balance in your urine.

When being treated with certain medications, the symptoms of urinary tract infections usually clear up in a few days; however, you may need to continue using medications for a week or longer, depending on how you respond to the medication. In additiion, your doctor may prescribe a pain medication that will help when there is pain with urination. One common side effect of urinary tract analgesics is discolored urine ” bright blue or orange.

The symptoms of a UTI include cloudy urine, a strong odor, low fever and a painful, constant need to urinate. Many women also experience fatigue, nausea, and a general ill feeling. If the infection is mild, it may often go away on its own without an antibiotic. However, a prescription medication can be necessary to fully remove all the bacteria so that the UTI does not return.

A natural herb supplement that fights UTI’s is called URIZOL which can be found at urizol.com. Urizol is made of all natural ingredients. These natural ingredients work as a diuretic which helps increase urination. They also can boost your immune system and fight infection. It has also been scientifically proven to cleanse, disinfect and protect your urinary system. It protects your urinary system by stimulating white blood cells and increasing their strength to fight infection thus making your fight against UTI’s a successful one.

Impingement of the Ankle

Monday, December 28th, 2009

In ankle impingement there is a limitation in the joint mobility of the ankle due to pain from a soft tissue or bony pathology. A common finding to precipitate this pain syndrome is an irritation of the synovial membrane or the joint capsule, typically after an ankle sprain or a repetitive series of such injuries. Chronic pain in the ankle and impingement can result from the ankle being sprained and this can give a persistent pain problem with limitations on involvement in sports. Numbers are unclear but some level of impingement could occur in about ten percent of people who undergo ankle sprains.

An acute ankle sprain which precedes impingement is commonly precipitated by a person stepping into a hole or on to something uneven, forcing the foot inwards and downwards with the body weight on it. Impingent can present as anterior (front of ankle), posterior (back) or as a problem with the tibial and fibular interconnection just above the ankle. Patients with anterior impingement report that the front of the ankle joint feels blocked as they try and pull the foot up. If the ankle is dorsiflexed, especially with some force as in lunging forward whilst standing on the foot, this may point to this diagnosis if painful.

If the intervening joint between the tibia and fibula is involved then there will be tenderness and pain on palpating that area firmly and on pressing the two sides of the ankle together. Posterior impingement may be harder to diagnose, the symptoms being less clear although a forceful downward movement of the foot may cause pain. Anterior impingement can be brought on by kicking a ball in soccer and doing repetitive lunging manoeuvres such as in fencing or ballet. Repeated micro damage to the area leads to chronic injury and the formation of bony spurs at the front edge of the joint.

Ankle impingement is difficult to investigate with the usual imaging methods as little may be apparent. Normal x-rays, bone scanning and computed tomography (CT) scanning often show little abnormal, although people with a diagnosis of anterior impingement may show spurs of bone on the front surfaces of the ankle bone (talus) and the tibia. MRI scanning (magnetic resonance imaging) is more helpful to show bony or soft tissue problems.

Ankle impingement is treated initially with conservative methods with typical advice to patients to modify their aggravating activities initially so relieving the stresses on the injured areas to allow pain reduction. To limit the pain and any inflammatory local changes a patient may take nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications. Physiotherapy referral can involve the use of local ultrasound, friction massages, mobilisations of the local foot and ankle joints, strengthening muscles and increasing ranges of motion. Ankle braces can be useful for joint stability and to limit joint excursion, with assessment and provision of in-shoe insoles by physiotherapists.

Conservative treatment methods may not settle impingement pain and then consideration turns towards surgical intervention. Modern operation is usually performed arthroscopically, any loose tissue cut away, and bony spurs or soft tissue abnormalities removed. Patients can rapidly mobilise after surgery and almost normal walking can start a few hours after operation provided minor work has been performed. Patients may need to wait 4 to 6 weeks before fully resuming their normal routines, in some cases guided by physiotherapists. Results from trials of surgery for this condition have shown that eighty percent have good to excellent outcomes.

In more serious cases patients may wear an ankle brace and use crutches to reduce the weight borne on the ankle, working up to full weight bearing over a week or two. Physiotherapy may then commence once the brace has been removed, starting with range of motion exercises to the ankle and foot joints. Physiotherapists also use ice and other treatments such as ultrasound to reduce pain and inflammation. Once the ankle has begun to settle the physio will progress the patient onto gym exercises without significant weight such as using a static bike, and then to weight bearing exercises involving power, coordination, joint position sense and balance.

Jay’s En-Lightening Experience

Friday, December 25th, 2009

I met Jay in June 1977 when he came to our home to meet my husband, a well known certified hypnotherapist. Jay was hoping to be able to study under him. As an astrologer, I asked him for his date, time and place of birth so I could do him a chart. After about a minute I made a startling discovery and returned to tell him what I had found. I think Jay found this a little strange but I said to him, Something special is going to happen to you soon. You will be guided there and this experience will change your life and someone you know will be there to observe.

Eventually, Jay met my husband and they worked together for some time. Jay had some blood pressure and stress issues so they did three hypnosis sessions together to sort the problem. Afterwards, they started to study together and Lee gave Jay perhaps seven to ten books per week to read; ever expanding Jays mind on cultures and beliefs, mind sciences and cult influences, and much more. He also recommended classes; the Loving Relationship Training by Sondra Lee and a series by Theta Seminars on Metaphysics.

Jay began to attend a class called Spiritual Psychology taught by a husband and wife team from Missouri. They had been into natural healing, natural childbirth with doctors and absolutely unique concepts for a period in time.

Most of Jays friends thought he was crazy to be attending classes like that on weekends when he could have been water skiing, boating, enjoying life, playing with women at bars, or just getting drunk like some of his clients. But, Jay was content with studying Metaphysics and Healing.

It was at the second Theta Seminar that the special event occurred. It was August 1977 and Jay was in the classroom which was in a loft on 22nd Street in New York City. In the class, they talked about the cycles of birth and death and their influence on the soul. They did some breathing, meditation and thinking about their own birth.

Jay remembered that his was traumatic, as his mother had gone into a coma and he was born two months premature. Then, he suddenly realized that he was meant to be born early; his weight was already 8 lbs. 15 ounces and his mother was too tiny at 411 to handle the Big Guy coming into the world.

He was able to forgive himself for wearing out his mother at birth with his size and weight. He forgave his mother for being unconcient at his birth and missing his first two weeks of life on Earth. What an experience it was for him. Feeling the forgive-ness made Jay feel lighter.

The next part of the class was the chanting and rocking session. Jay, still feeling that lightness as the group of six in his team began elevating and rocking him to music and chants. One at a time, the team was lifting each person up and then rocking the fully elevated person before slowly returning them to the ground.

Back then Jay weighed 280 pounds and there they were, trying to get him up in the air. He felt as light as a feather, totally relaxed as he was rocked back and forth. During the session the window was open and suddenly a strange cool-damp breeze came through into the room, exactly where they were rocking Jay. A bolt of what appeared to be lightning hit Jay at the top of his head. The group pulled their hands away and he floated back down to the ground.

Then Jay slowly opened his eyes and touched the top of his head. It felt warm. As he sat up, he was surprised to see me standing over him, looking at him. He remembered what I had said to him when we first met, And someone you know will be there to observe. Jay closed his eyes and his head was filled with ideas and formulas and concepts and the words just know that you know.

From that moment, he knew the past, present and the future. He foresaw floods, tornados, the economic crisis of 2007- on … he was frightened, but understood. He knew about others just by looking at their faces, their eyes or from their handwriting. And there is so much more that he knew he would come know.

The question for Jay in all of this is, if there is so much that he knows, then how can he use it to help everyone throughout the rest of his life?

You can learn some of life’s secrets, from the man who wears a halo and awakens the comatose. Check out Dr. Jay Polmar’s guaranteed method: Thinkright. Just a few secrets of life

Can You Really Become Telepathic?

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

When we say someone is ‘telepathic’ what do we really mean? Most people just dismiss the idea of telepathy as belonging to mysticism or science fiction. On the other hand, don’t we live in a world where people fly on a regular basis? Where information floats invisibly through the air for use with laptops and cell phones? Where anyone can conjure a flame in their hand with the use of a $1 cigarette lighter?

Advanced technology and magic to a primitive culture are said to be indistinguishable from one another. Technology and science have been used to learn about the world around us. And things we have accomplished in recent history was called impossible in the early’00s. Flights to the moon, moon walks by astronauts and exploration of the oceans which were too deep to be explored before. The use of natural energy from the sun, wind and water to produce energy, has been accomplished with technology which has only been around a short time.

Is it then really too much of a stretch to accept the possibility of telepathic people? An individual who developed these mental properties would just be misunderstood by most people.

Investigation, by scientists, of people who are telepathic, is called parapsychology or paraphysics. Even those who investigate this use scientific methods and experiments to get answers to questions on telepathy regardless of what the answer may be or whether its the answer they are looking for.

Individuals who are Telepathic and subjects of experiments have however produced less than desired results for telepathy to be proven scientifically. The results of tests must be consistent, repeatable and measurable. Results can’t always be duplicated because they are inconsistent. Some would say that this proves that individuals aren’t Telepathic, but to others it proves we have a lot to learn to understand and need more developed procedures for testing for telepathy.

How is it possible there are individuals who are Telepathic? How do they communicate with only their minds without using all their other senses? Obviously it is by a means not understood completely. One that doesnt involve hearing, taste, smell or touch, but nevertheless exists. Think what can be done using our advanced communication technology. You can’t see, feel, smell or touch radio waves, but we all know they exist.

There is a new concept being discussed which is the idea of ‘Thought waves’. These are defined as an electrical and magnetic fiend generated by the brain and these have been proven to exist. This is the keystone that scientific Telepathic studies rest on. We’ll try to explain it in layman’s terms, but it may get a little complicated, so just bear with us.

Scientifically, human thought is just a biochemical process of neurons being transferred between different synapses in the brain. However, this transfer of neurons creates an electrical current. Tiny, sure, but measurable. This electrical current also generates a tiny magnetic field. Keep in mind the brain has tens of thousands of synapses firing at any one time.

Can humans use these bio-magnetic and bio-electric fields to communicate? Are the magnetic and electrical waves carrying content or is it meaningless static? Can mental training control brain waves? Meditation, controlled thoughts, can these techniques possibly be used in shaping brain waves, like these, into significant communication?

Another problem is the weakness of the electrical or magnetic field. It can easily be drowned out by the electrical and magnetic fields of everyday technology i.e stereos, televisions, computers, even microwaves and refrigerators all send out much larger electrical and magnetic fields.

There are, however, problems with the electrical and magnetic fields. Unfortunately these fields can be overpowered by everyday technology. For example the microwave, television, refrigerator. These everyday items produce much larger magnetic fields and electrical fields. Is it possible to reach the brains magnetic and electrical fields during an emotionally heightened state, fear, pain or shock? During these emotionally charged times, in the brain, a spiking of bio-magnetic and bio-electric activity is created by neuron synapses firing.

Researchers of parapsychology have documented brief Telepathic communications. One instance is a mothers knowing her child has been hurt, even though they are separated by many miles. This fear and anxiety the parent experiences creates the spiking of neurons and is this brain activity telepathically communicating? Does the relationship between two individuals contribute to telepathy? Or perhaps is this all just coincidence?

There is too little scientific evidence to prove telepathy exists and there is still doubt. This is changing and there are more and more studies being conducted by scientists to show there are telepathic humans. With proper instruction and guidance this gift can be developed among the human population.

How to Get Rid of Nail Fungus

Saturday, December 5th, 2009

Having your nails infected with Fungus, can be an unpleasant experience, which can occur n either toe or finger nails. It is contracted by the fungi getting under your nail bed by means of a small cut or slit in your skin.

If you have nail fungus the following symptoms tend to emerge; firstly the nail starts to lose shine and color, the nail thickens, and the edges crumble and then the nail loosens from the nail bed.

Even though these symptoms can be extremely aggravating to live with, you need not continue to suffer as you can treat this condition through various means. But it is essential to begin to treat it immediately otherwise it will spread as it feeds from your skin and nails and is highly infectious.

Certain people try to get rid of it by removing the nail, however this will not solve the problem, as when the nail grows back the infection will reoccur. Nail fungus is very contagious so you need to treat it right away as when you leave it, you put other people in danger of of contracting it and it can also transmit other parts of your body.

When you treat nail fungus you can either use topical or oral treatment, but the problem with conventional medication is that it can take from 6 to 12 weeks before you see the desired result.
