Alpha Hydroxy Acid for Removing Dead Skin Cells
Medications that use retinol can help to get rid of acne-causing bacteria. If you stop the spread of these bacteria it is much easier to treat the acne. Retinol will leave your skin dryer and take away the blockages that cause many skin problems.
Acne and AHAs
Acne preventing medications that use Alpha Hydroxy Acids or AHAs are effective because they take away skin cells that have died. This is an effective measure in the prevention of acne in the first place. Stopping acne before it has a chance to spread might be the best way to maintain healthy skin.
