When you would search the internet for weight lose techniques or for the methods to lose weight, you will either find dieting plans or you would find exercises to lose the weight. But if they are combined, they can give amazing results. They actually work the best when combines. You will not be able to achieve the amazing and quick results if you are not combing both of them.
1)Food:
i)Determine the amount of calories that you are consuming. Once you have calculated the calories, you will then move on to the next step. Make sure that you are not just calculating the entire intake but you are writing down everything that you eat and then calculate the calories for each item separately. This will help you when you will plan your caloric intake.
ii)Once you have completed the first step, then decide about the kinds of food that you should consume. Avoid the food which is high in calories on daily basis. Plan your meat according to the daily caloric intake that is needed.
iii)If you have identified any unhealthy foods, stop consuming them. But you can always find alternatives to them. The alternatives will help you to have the taste and still consume fewer calories.
iv)Lean food is what you will need to consume more often. Some kind of fish contain more calories where as others have less amount of calories. Similarly you can decide about all kinds of food.
v)Now that you have taken the necessary step, the last thing that you will have to do is to plan the meals. Planning is important. You should not just eat anything when you want to eat it. Go according to your list.
2)Exercise:
i)Remember that you will need to burn whatever excess you are consuming. If you do not burn it then you are going to get fat. The best is to start exercising regularly. The modern day life does not involve so much of physical activity and that means we are not burning the required amount. Hence make sure that you indulge into some physical activity in shape of exercise.
ii)Aerobic exercises will help you to reduce weight quickly by burning down the fats quickly. Walking and cycling are excellent aerobic exercises and they can really help you to get rid of extra fats. You can also use the aerobic machines to perform the various exercises.
iii)Being consistent is the key. If you are exercising a day and you are taking the next day off, it will not pay off. You will have to make sure that you are having a motivation and you are exercising regularly without missing a single day.

Figuring out how to tone up arms can be extremely difficult if your source of advice is questionable. And unfortunately, most information on the internet is questionable. Thus, many women are completely lost when it comes to getting the lean and sexy arms of their dreams.
How do I know? Because I receive an inordinate amount of questions every day that reveal an epidemic of mass confusion.
And don’t be too hard on yourself. After all, a lot of this confusion is created by questionable marketing that will make your purse lighter while your arms get heavier.
So without further delay, here are 5 myths on how to tone up arms:
1. Exercising on a daily basis is the best approach. This is a great way to get an overuse injury. Please do not try to do this. After all, once you tweak a tendon or ligament, healing will take a very long time. You body needs proper rest.
2. Something is wrong if one arm is stronger than the other. Nothing could be further from the truth, this is perfectly normal. Over time, this discrepancy will begin to fade. Just make sure that you do unilateral movements.
3. I should be able to do 15 repetitions for every set in very workout. This will surely lead to arm toning failure! There are no cookie cutter rules here. In fact, you should strive to experiment with a wide variety of repetitions for maximum effect.
4. If I get tired I should stop. Stop if you feel sick, otherwise keep on going. Bear in mind that when you push yourself really hard, your body secretes hormones that incinerate arm fat. There is no other way to get these hormones flowing.
5. If you’re sore a couple days after exercising, something is wrong! This simply means that you had an intense workout-just what you need to do to tone up those arms. And keep in mind that this delayed soreness will decrease as you eat better and your body learns to recover faster.
Please steer clear of all the marketing hype out there. Stick to unbiased sources of information and learning how to tone up arms will be that much easier. Only then will you get the sexy arms of your dreams!

Every trainer has a different angle on how to do arm exercises. However, some angles are less effective than others. And if you’re using outdated techniques, you could be wasting too much time.
To make matters worse, you may notice very little arm toning from all your efforts. Once this happens, the chances of you throwing in the towel go up drastically.
So here are some useful pointers on how to make arm exercises for women world class:
1. Get the full stretch when doing overhead triceps extensions. When doing a tricep extension, make sure you get a full stretch at the bottom of the movement. You’ll have to use lighter weights, but the long head of your triceps will get worked like nothing else. And the long head is the precise area from which arm fat hangs.
2. Squeeze at the bottom of triceps press downs. There are many variations to the triceps press down. However, the one thing you should do irrespective of the variation is squeeze your triceps when your elbows lock out. Although painful, this is an excellent technique for rapid arm toning.
3. Do some negative repetitions, but don’t do overboard. You don’t want to go overboard because they do cause a lot of muscle damage. However, when used moderately they greatly accelerate your arm toning progress. They’re a great tool for making arm exercises ultra effective.
4. Use some really heavy weight. But don’t let your form deviate. In fact, never let your form deviate. How heavy? Don’t be afraid to venture into the 3-5 repetition range! Trust me, your arms will thank you for it. After all, you have to target all types of muscle fibers in your arm for the best results.
There are two ways to do arm exercises for women: the effective way and the ineffective way. If you follow the pointers outlined in this article, you’ll be well on your way to rapid arm toning. So make sure you act on this information now and not later.

If the fitness experts are confused about this “arm exercises for toning” question, then you probably are too. Are you more confused than a lost child?
How are you supposed to find the truth behind this question if the gurus can’t? This can be a hair-pulling ordeal.
Thus, I have decided to embark on a mission. A mission to review as many arm exercises for toning as I can. Hopefully, I can clear up some of the confusion
My analysis of different arm exercises for toning should save you a substantial amount of time. Today I will be reviewing dumbbell curls:
1. General description. This is a great exercise for the biceps because it works this muscle group through its entire range of motion. An exercise that works a muscle through its entire range of motion will allow you to get more work done per unit of time. Note: the biceps is the first arm muscle someone will see when looking at you from the front.
2. Exercise technique. Grab a dumbbell with each hand and stand erect with your palms facing inwards. Rotate one hand and bring the weight up in a controlled fashion. Slowly lower said weight. Do this for the other arm.
3. Common mistakes: Letting the shoulders round forward when bringing up the weight-very bad for your back. Raising the elbows when performing the upper portion of the movement. This takes stress off of the biceps and puts it on the front shoulders.
4. Bottom line: This is an excellent exercise that every woman should do. It would be perfect if it weren’t for the fact that it can be somewhat difficult to maintain good form when going heavy.
So every woman that wants toned and defined arms should be targeting their biceps, not just their triceps. Dumbbell curls are a great tool for doing just that. What are the best arm exercises for toning? Well, now you know one of them!

Can you tone up arms with almost no effort whatsoever? Absolutely.
How? With effortless fat loss. This type of fat loss always you to eat as much as you want.
All you have to do is change your patterns of eating so that you automatically and unconsciously end up eating less calories. Less calories translates into less arm fat.
How do you achieve effortless fat loss? Well, let me show you 4 steps you can take so that you can tone up arms without breaking a sweat:
1. Have a regular pattern of eating. If you are like many women, you probably have an irregular pattern of eating. The issue with this is that it distorts your brain’s “feel full” signal. One study showed that women who eat at regular times every day, consume 100 fewer calories per day in comparison to women who eat irregularly.
2. Never, I say never skip breakfast. If you are like most women you are probably skipping breakfast. A major no no. Study after study has shown that skipping breakfast promotes weight gain. In fact, one study showed that women who skip breakfast are 24% more likely to become obese.
3. Eat more protein. Doubling your protein intake from 15% of calories to 30% can have you eating 441 fewer calories per day. But don’t go overboard because too much protein a la Atkins will make your life miserable and will have a negative effect on your health.
4. Stick to high-quality protein only. What does high-quality protein have that other protein doesn’t? It’s natural, low in additives and most importantly, low in saturated fat. One really cool study showed that eating cod produces an 11% reduction in caloric intake in comparison to eating beef.
You can learn how to tone up arms the easy way or the hard way. Hopefully, I’ve taken you one step closer to the easy way. Getting the sexy arms of your dreams doesn’t have to be an all out war. They key is to work smarter, not harder. Making the simple adjustments as mentioned above, will make life much much easier for you. Good luck!

Suppose that you’ve never worked out in life, and all of a sudden someone tells you that if you wish to get rid of your fat belly you, you have to hit the gym for two weeks straight and spend an average of six hours there per day! How would you react to that? Your first thought would be that it is better to keep your fat belly intact and watch that cool Hollywood movie instead of working so hard.
Well, that is the exactly the same way your kids think when they are asked to workout like crazy for the purpose of weight loss! However, if you ask them to do some fun activities which would keep them cheerful and help them lose weight at the same time, then nothing like it! In this article I will share three such fun activities for your kids!
1. Dog walking: Walking is one of the simplest ways to lose weight, but kids won’t want to walk without any incentive. Do you have a pet dog at home? If yes, the incentive could be that of taking the dog for a walk. If your kids are particularly attached to the pets at home, this would become easier! Be an example to your kids and take the dog with you when going out for your regular morning walks, and your kids would soon follow suit!
2. The twister trick: Board games and video games definitely make your kids fat, but not all games are that bad. Consider for example the twister game! Would you call it dull and boring? Definitely not! It is one game which kids of all ages are sure to enjoy, and since they cannot play it sitting on the couch, it would help them lose weight as well!
Again you could take the initiative by playing the game for your kids at first, and since kids like to emulate adults, they would soon follow you!
3. Let the chair be filled with music: Okay, I mean musical chairs! This is a very well known game but very few people know that it could be used to make your kids lose the fat belly in an instant! The game is pretty simple: just get several hula hoops and chairs and put them all close to each other. Let the music begin!
The kids are supposed to walk in a big circle around the hoops or chairs as soon as the music begins. Immediately after music stops, the kids must jump fast into the hula hoops or the chairs; if anyone is unable to jump on the chair in time, he is sent back to the cheering section. Before the start of the next round of the game, you should take away one chair from the group!

It is said that America tops the obese adult population in the world, which is of course true. However, one seems to overlook the fact that America is also home to the highest population of obese children. If WHO (World Health Organization) is to be believed, our world contains more than twenty million obese kids, most of whom are in the age group of five-eight.
WHO also says that childhood obesity has reached the level of an epidemic in America, so much so that in the past 30 years the number of obese American kids has more than tripled! Isn’t your child one of them too? It is time to take control of your kid’s life and help him lead the kind of comfortable and healthy life we would want him to lead! And this is only possible by helping him get rid of the extra pounds!
In fact, if America tops the number of obese kids, even third world countries are not far behind. You would think that an economically backward continent like Africa would have skinny kids because most of their parents are too poor to feed them properly, let alone overfeed them! However, very often our beliefs don’t coincide with reality. Just recently a special task force sent to Africa to estimate the health stats of the people living there encountered more obese kids than malnourished children!
You may be thinking: why all this hullabaloo about childhood obesity? What is wrong if the belly of your kid if a tad flabbier than his peers? The answer is: just like overweight adults, fat kids are also likely to suffer from harmful diseases such as high blood pressure, type 1 diabetes, hypertension, fatigue, heart diseases, and in some cases, even early death!
In reality, the root cause of childhood obesity has little to do with genetics and more with poor lifestyle habits. Often people add two and two and jump to the conclusion that the kid is fat because of his parents. But that is not true at all! Kids emulate the unhealthy habits of their parents and naturally become fat like them! If you and your kids follow healthy lifestyle habits, both of you would be able to get rid of fat very quickly!
Truth to be told, the onus of the rising levels of childhood obesity lies on parents to a great extent. We parents prefer our kids to have junk foods since they can be simply procured from outside and help save the time we would have spent on cooking! A diet rich in fat and sugar could only make your child fatter and fatter! There is really nothing new to be said about it. Unless you are willing to spend a little time and energy in cooking healthy foods at home, don’t expect your kids to become any slimmer!
Apart from making them eat healthy foods such as whole grains, fruits and vegetables, it is also important that you try to limit their intake of soda and fizzy drinks!
Controlling the food habits of your kids is only half the battle won, the other half being that of encouraging them to become more active! If you are concerned about your child’s future and wish to offer him a healthy life, you would need to take him away from Xbox and PSPs to outdoor sports such as cricket, basketball, tennis, etc! Encouraging them to indulge in cardiovascular activities such as swimming, dancing, rope jumping, etc., would also help them burn fat and lose weight!

There is really nothing surprising about the fact that America is host to the highest number of obese kids! If you ever visit a decent American fast food restaurant, you would find out almost an equal number of kids and adults eating out there! In fact people there not only eat fast foods outside but bring them at home to eat during lunch or dinner time! In short, fast food seems to have become almost an huge part of American diet!
Eating once in a while at a fast food restaurant is one thing, but making it a habit and considering junk foods to be part of your staple diet is going to make you and your kid fat and nothing more! These foods have an attractive outer appearance and also taste great in mouth, but once they go inside the body, they get deposited as fat and make the person overweight! Thankfully there are certain simple and easy ways to get rid of this menace. Read on to find out about these ways!
It would of course be wrong on your part to put the entire blame of adopting unhealthy eating habits on kids. After all, don’t children pick up habits only from their parents? They have enough knowledge to notice what their parents are doing, but are not intelligent enough to differentiate between good and bad eating habits!
As a parent, it is your duty to guide your kid during his childhood. Many parents, some purely out of laziness and others because of lack of time, ask their children to have their fill at a local fast food restaurant! Why? It is easy and effortless, since parents don’t need to spend time on cooking! The concept may look attractive on the surface but the ending is obviously not so good!
Now the question-why should you worry about your kids’ health! Kids should remain fit and healthy not just for cosmetic reasons and social acceptance but to keep themselves away from harmful diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, etc., which go side by side with obesity! If you don’t want your kid to suffer from these terrible maladies and die an early death, your best bet is to start implementing the following three measures right now!
1. Breakfast is important: Starting the day with a healthy breakfast is as much important for you as your kids. Very often, adults skip breakfast citing ‘lack of time’ or ‘important business appointments’ as excuses. Children too follow them, their excuses being either ‘lots of homework’ or ‘getting delayed for school’. However if you or your kid skip breakfast, it won’t be weird for either of you to gorge on a couple of burgers later in the day when you would no longer be able to put up with hunger!
Eating breakfast regularly is as much important as having a healthy breakfast. White breads, sodas, burgers, French fries, etc. are NOT what you should include in your kids’ breakfast! Kids should have a breakfast rich in protein which can be found in plenty in chicken, eggs, etc. Salads are also a good breakfast food! Apart from that, any homemade meal cooked using low-calorie oil would make for an ideal breakfast food!
2. Make the food attractive: Unlike adults, kids won’t eat anything which doesn’t taste or look good. They may not be like to eat something as dull as vegetables, but top it with cheese, and they would lick the plate dry! Same goes for pasta. Instead of serving them plain pasta, try serving it in “shapely” form!
To give you an idea, how about a triangular or octopus-shaped pasta! The more visually attractive the food is, the more attracted they would be to it! Slowly they would get so accustomed to healthy meals that their addiction to junk foods would wear off!
3. Let them eat small: The principle of eating in small portions applies as much to kids as adults. It is no use forcing your child to eat a bucketful of rice when he doesn’t need it! Instead, you should serve him the same rice in three or four smaller servings!
Kids are habitual grazers, which mean that they would take longer to eat than an adult! This is a good habit, so don’t discourage it! Let them enjoy every bite of the food they eat, as they are likely to become satiated quicker this way than otherwise! As a result, there is much less of a chance of them ever overeating!

We all know that the only method to keep our kids from getting any fatter is by making them eat healthy fruits and vegetables as well as forcing them to stay away from junk foods. However, any parent knows that it is easier said than done! After all, which kid would want to give up on the tasty junk foods for the sake of fruits and vegetables! Well, good news is that there is a little trick which works wonders in this case! In this article I will talk about that little-known but useful trick!
The trick is that of hiding healthy foods in the guise of ‘comfort’ foods. How about a spinach burger, or a ’soft drink’ made up of just plain water with a tad of sugar and a pint of natural lemon or mango flavor? How about substituting butter with margarine for the purpose of cooking those delicious and yummy popcorn balls? There are plenty of ingenious ways you can use to make your kids eat healthy foods without much fuss!
Now, there are certain things to keep in mind here:
1. First of all, contrary to what many parents believe, there is nothing unethical about tricking your kids into eating healthy foods; the only ‘bad’ thing which is going to happen as a result of this trick is that your child would be more and more addicted to healthy foods and his addiction towards junk foods would automatically diminish over time!
Most of the organic fruits and vegetables out there are high in fiber, among other nutrients! Therefore these foods help keep your kids full for a long time, and consequently, their appetite for junk foods is killed!
2. Secondly, while it is true that this method only works for young children, it is also true that if you make them accustomed to healthy foods right from their infancy, it would be easier for them to incorporate healthy eating habits later in life, and when that happens, you won’t really need to trick them anymore by offering healthy foods camouflaged as junk foods! Remember that habits, good or bad, are adopted by human beings right from a very young age!
3. Thirdly, in the quest of making our children eat healthy foods, we must not lose sight of the foods they may be allergic too! Milk may be good for the growth of kids, but many kids are lactose intolerant and as such, cannot digest milk properly! The only way is to offer skimmed or ‘fat-free’ milk instead!
Also there are many kids who are allergic even to the innocuous potatoes! If your kid dislikes potatoes no matter how you cook them, then there is more to it than its bland taste. However if your kid seems to prefer potato chips in place of roasted or steamed potatoes, then it is just an unhealthy food choice which needs to be taken care of. Granted that potatoes are high on carbs, but still, steamed potatoes are lower on calorie content than potato chips; plus your kids need carbs anyway!

We all want our kids to be fit and healthy, but with the fast lifestyle which most of us lead these days, helping kids stay healthy seems to be a tough job. With childhood obesity reaching alarming levels, it is time we take a look our kids’ life and don’t let them become victims of obesity-related diseases such as diabetes, kidney problems, heart attacks, stroke, hypertension, etc. Even if your kid is not obese but eating junk foods, you should still read this article because if he continues with his present lifestyle, it is only a matter of time before he would be displaying a big fat belly like his peers!
Teaching our kids the benefits of following healthy eating habits can help control childhood obesity to an extent. In this article I will offer you four simple eating tips which have worked wonders for my own kids. I am sure you would find them equally helpful!
1. Don’t let them have soda: Soda is probably the number one enemy of your kid, in that it would make him gain weight by leaps and bounds! The only approach to control your kid’s soda intake is to find alternative ways to quench his thirst. Water of course is the best medicine, but children are not always willing to drink plain water. So what would you do? Well, you could add low-fat or low-calorie flavors into water to make it tasty! Just be sure to check the calorie and fat contents of the flavors you use!
Further, you can also add a tablespoonful of sugar in water to make it sweet. Children often drink soda mainly because of its sweet taste, but once they find a good substitute in ’sugary-water’, it would be easy to prod them to dump soda for good. Remember that a can of soda contains an equivalent of several tablespoonfuls of sugar; if you could substitute that with just one or two tablespoonfuls of sugar, don’t you think it is a better and healthier option?
2. Be an example: Preaching the rules of healthy eating to your kids is of no use if you don’t follow them yourself! Bear in mind that kids would pick up a bad habit from you quicker than a good one. If you wish to keep your kids healthy, you would also need to lead a healthy lifestyle!
3. Educate your kids adequately: There are several ways to do this. Say, when you shop for grocery, teach your kids how to pick up healthy foods and snacks for themselves, how to identify the high-calorie and sugary foods, etc.
4. Discard junk foods out of your home: It is also important that you clean your kitchen cupboards as well as refrigerator of all the junk foods and stock them with healthier alternatives instead, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, etc. If you keep only healthy foods at home at all times, your kids are less likely to stray than otherwise!
When you have your meals, you should not only eat healthy foods yourself, but also show them how much you enjoy eating those foods. If you have a habit of munching on a packet of chips or popcorn while watching your favorite movie, you should try it with apples or carrots; if you really need to eat popcorn, cook them at home using low-calorie oil or margarine instead of butter!
